These are the period products that I have used ever since switching to products with more natural ingredients.
I have been learning all about ingredients that can disrupt our hormones. Since learning about this I have been switching out my makeup products, cleaning products, skincare, and more. Naturally, I have arrived at learning about natural period products. Many of the tampons and pads available use plastic, synthetic fiber, synthetic fragrances, and chlorine. Also, many of the pain relief medications can be swapped out for ones with more natural ingredients.
In this post, I will share 7 natural and holistic period product options.
Natural Period Products:
1. Organic Pads

Since these are used in a sensitive area it may be better to use pads with natural ingredients. This is especially true for those who get reactions from pads made with plastics and chlorine. 2. Organic Tampons
Since these period products are inserted in your body using clean and natural ingredients might be a better option. What’s great about these is that you can go longer in between bathroom trips, save money by not having to buy so many pads/tampons and they are easy to clean. They are very comfortable.
4. Heating Patch
A great natural period product I discovered is Rael’s Heating Patches. Sometimes cramps can be painful and all you want to do is lay down with a heating pad.
